PARENT ORGANIZING POD

The Parent Organizing Pod exists to empower parents by engaging in community organizing and leadership development so parents can learn about their rights, recognize their power, and use their voice to advocate for youth and families in Pomona so that our school district and city place children first.
Our north star is for all parent organizers to feel connected to other parents and peers who care about them and to feel powerful and confident because of their contributions to the community.
Our pod is anchored by the social action group, Padres Unidos de Pomona, which provides community oversight and accountability.
